Great thought rough, an EX-member of Bronsonville. As you say guaranteed excitement. I say early carnage by Ortega, even through the middle rounds, and a blazing finale by Palomino, but Ortega lasts. Palomino by a close decision.
Yeah, I also see Palomino taking a decision, but I think I could be swayed. Carlos' boxing skill was underrated and very tidy.
I think you're right, it could go to Ortega merely on the basis that he was the flashier boxer and much more popular in his own time. You betrayed your class when you changed profile pics.
Bronson will be back eventually. He always comes back. I think there would be some beautiful exchanges in this bout. Gaspar is underrated for skills and effect in his own right. PPV worthy right here.
Just don't use the same old "Magnificent Seven" picture you always use. You need some variety. Definitely, probably 8 of the 10 rounds would be great ones (provided it's a 10-rounder). I think Gaspar is underrated now, but probably one of the most popular fighters of the late 50s & early 60s.
Well, I have had this profile for 6 years. I've had several Bronson pics since before you even joined, whippersnapper. For this match up I was specifically envisioning a 15 rounder, but I don't mind if people want to debate a 10 or 12 rounder.
Well, I see sir. I think the fight is not as close going 15 rounds. After all, Ortega never completed 15 rounds and Palomino went 12-15 rounds several times. I think a 15-rounder Palomino would win at least 9-6.
Palomino was a very underrated boxer. He beat several good fighters, justifying his vie for the title and then held it with what, six or seven title defenses against top challengers? He was a well-composed boxer possessing pretty good durability yet was still able to go wild in a war.
