It's not that he has no talent. He has no technique. He's obviously talented to be able to do what he's done without any fundamental technique. If he improves his technique he will become a real problem.

 

Well, I was in two minds about interjecting and giving the game away, but I figured it only right to vouch for your veracity and humanity.

I would say that you take pride in your achievements, and there's nothing wrong with that. Any arrogance you may exhibit is more of a necessary construct in business and an entertaining switch to flip when you're kicking it on a forum. I do not find that the fellow behind @GlaukosTheHammer is unrelatable or of poor character.

wlad actually has a couple of good world class wins. wilder has at best one "ok" one.

 

I never thought Wlad was a very big hitter. In his last fight he only managed to knock Joshua down due to Joshua's fatigue in the previous round which was caused largely by the left hook.

In the Sam Peter fight it didn't look like he was doing much damage at all to Peter.

Wilder on the other hand has a right hand that can knock you out immediately. With Wlad he tires you out and then knocks you out.

I'm a Klitschko fan but at the end of the day his career was mostly him beating up men who were 6'2 - 6'3. In his last two fights he fought men his own size, even bigger and we saw how that turned out, sure he was older but if Fury and Joshua were shorter than even a 40 year old Wlad could've dominated them.

He wouldn't dominate in this era with fellow giants like Joshua, Wilder and Fury. Those jab, grab and lean tactics simply wouldn't work on people who are the same size or taller.

 

Gassiev understands that Wilders unpredictable rhythm and sudden burst attacks at jolting speed would cause nightmares for the straight up , orthodox , pre -programmed robot.

You need to think outside the box and expect the unexpected when facing Wilder cos one mistake can prove critical.

Clinchko can only box to the same pre drawn up script and thats why he chose to fight the straight forward Joshua instead of Wilder.
Its also why Joshua is stalling big time on the Wilder fight. Even through he's better than Klitschko ever was , he still has the upright , stiff style that presents a big target for Wilder to detonate on .
