gassiev is a brute and a top notch fighter, he needs a few years under his belt. 24 and a cw champ!? when hes 28 he will be an unstoppable monster! Mind you lets give mairis some respect hes another very good fighter, and he had a better gameplan than murat. breidis vs murat would be a great fight to see who is number 2.
Usyk threw 960 punches. no thats not a typo. I think only Vitali Klitschko threw more punches in a CW/HW fight before
too early to tell, a lot of the punches were not forceful either. 2Slyk rather focused on speed and a lazer Holmes like jab.
Gassiev was shaky in the last two rounds, i think Usyk may have stopped him if he wanted that but he was in control so why risking a brawl at the inside, Gassiev still has the power to knock out / down anyone. Still, Gassiev has a good chin, Usyk jabbed his head off and he looked comfortable with that.
