Just a byproduct of lightening skin combined with the current social expectation of what is young. We needed lighter sklin in darker climates for increased sun absorption for bone development (less bone development means massively fewer successful births). We had to have fewer barriers in the skin in order to survive. Fewer barriers in the skin means the skin looks "older" in our current definitions of old and young.

People here (west) socially associate a reddening of the skin as ageing - its not, its just a social idea that is is. You arent seing the skin turning pink/red at all, you are just seeing whats underneath become more visible. The skin surface isnt chaging, its just always showing you whats underneath, and that underneath changes as you age.

Its not the asians who look youngest, very very black skin "ages" slowest - hospitals are full of wards full of fuddy duddy white seniors and then theres a younglooking black women sat next to them - with the same physical ailments, she just looks 35!

Asians probably are thought of young in the west because we associate a healthy tan and no lines with being young - perspectives of what is age are different over in say africa or asia. Thats why we need to avoid enforcing a limited or western view on the world at large if we want to see the truth. Theres whole areas of africa/asia who view "white skin" as a skin disease, but they are wrong, its just a different set of rules to them, just as there are westerners who think africans are ugly, they limit their views to their own subcultural mindset.

 

Western European males (without any religious or cultural pressure) are the most loyal to their offspring, which gave the females the edge (in the peasant populations of course). This was also an advantage for the West European elites to control the peasants, tie them to the land, limit their access to multiple females, take away any extra resources they have via taxation.
