Gassiev is ranked 8 by the IBF, He may get a shot sooner than we think!

    Wow.
    Two of the saddest saga's in boxing are Iron Gassiev, who had a terrific cruiser reign and has been injured every since, and Hrgovic, who just had yet another fight for the IB eliminator fall though, this time with Yoka.

    The rankings are...

    1. Unnrated (I don't get this)
    2. Ortiz (refused)
    3. Hrgovic
    4. Joshua (Otherwise disposed)
    5. Yoka (contractually disallowed)
    6. Joyce (injured)
    7. Kabeyal (there will be some reason that he cannot participate)
    8. Gassiev (injured)
    9. Ruiz
    10 Martin (probably never fight again)
    11. Parker (already declined)
    12. McKean
    13. Zhilea
    14. Hugh Fury
    15. Bakole

    The way I see it, he really only has to get healthy before Joyce to get this shot for another crack at Usyk!

    Sadly he seems to only fight once every 2 years these days. He's always injured.

    Dare I say Usyk took his soul?

    Usyk has a whole collection of souls in bottles held in a brown canvas bag he takes around with him. Every now and then he will randomly shout "Derek! Where are you Derek?" Then he looks into his bag and smiles. They're all in there.
