This guy is a warrior. I'm really impressed with his physicality. He brings it with hard hooks and power shots. His chin is real sturdy, nobody should be eating those shots from Dorticos with that kind of ease.

If he lands on anybody he's extremely dangerous. I'm not completely sold on his skill level yet. Though he's no slouch in that department either. But he's a real bull in that ring.

You have to be tough where he's from.
It's 15 degrees here and I'm about to die:griposo: F the cold I'm never doing this sh1t again.

You think Gassiev will be more of a threat than Breidis was?

It depends if Usyk gets on his bike and Gassiev can't find the mark then it will be a wide UD for Usyk.

Gassiev has some back foot game himself, I wonder the height and reach comparison.

Agree though I think Uysk should win by UD

Gassiev didn't start boxing until he was 15 and he only had 25 amateur fights with no international experience. He's 24 now so he's been boxing 9 years in total (actually Serge is pretty sure it's closer to 8 than it is 9). He turned pro 6.5 years ago (6 years and 8 months by the time he's fought Usyk) but he's already become a unified champion and his last 6 opponents have a combined record of 153-5.

3 of them were unbeaten - and Lebedev should arguably have been unbeaten too given how he was robbed against that caveman ******* (Jon Snow is one of these ie. a person born of parents not married to each other) Huck.

Seen here sparring Gassiev in 2014

And Lebedev's loss against that fat slug from Panama (G. Jones) should've been overturned as well.

3 of them were world champions, 2 were unified champions, and 1 was a former champion.

*I'm including the Usyk fight in all of this because that's what I do*

Conclusion = Murat is a natural

Ate those shots from Dorticos, then ratcheted up his aggression.

Usyk is far better than Dorticos, Gassiev is good warrior, tough, hits hard, but Usyk has movement, speed, knows how to pile up points, will be in top shape for Gassiev. I think Usyk by UD, but Gassiev is a very dangerous fighter............however, I remember watching Usyk beat the crap out of the 6 foot 6 inch Joyce, an easy win, he completely out classed Joyce and Usyk is only 6 foot 3 inches tall!

I saw a great deal more defense than punch resistance on display from Gassiev. And that's not a bad thing.

I dont know mane. I haven't seen much of either fighter. But Usyk does seem longer and bigger. I can see him causing problems with distance and a solid jab, but I think he will be the aggressor. Gassiev is the better combination puncher probably a better counter puncher. I can see either one winning. Im a sucker for clean counter punching and combinations (JMM fan here) so Im going for Gassiev by decision or late ko.

Who has the better stamina may be the better question.
