Gassiev is no joke. Can't wait for the Dorticos fight. Don't think it's outrageous to expect a Fight or KO of the Year candidate out of that one. Love a well done tourney.
I doubt it. But not because Gassiev isn't good, he's very good, and that liver shot is building quite a reputation. It's just that the division doesn't have the kind of money in it that it should so I can't see him being as widely ducked as Golovkin was.
He isn't as skilled as Golovkin, but he is a very solid fighter and will improve as he matures which is scary to think about.
Gassiev is far from the skill level that Golovkin has. Outside of skill he has a ways before he lives up to the reputation that Golovkins chin and stamina have. Gassiev is young and could still improve bit it's unlikely he checks off as many boxes Golovkin has.
