Hazzard jumped in and stopped it

And it NEEDED to be stopped

 

Yeah, the ref needed to stop that when he was eating clean punches in the corner, rather than giving him that extra minute to get setup for the big KO. That last right hand that put him down was not necessary.

 

Even though Gatti is done, Gomez was impressive!

 

Wow that was a hard fight to watch..., seeing an old champ and legend get beat down like that, damn near ruined my night, Ward should have told him to start slugging after the first round, dont know if it would have changed the outcome or not, but very hard fight to watch IMO.

 

Now 2 non power punchers knocked Gatti out at welterweight he should have never moved up , but he was done before that

 

He looked slow...off....and OLLLLLLD tonight. Very sad ending to a very entertaining career.
