Prety good fight and Gatti would eventually do the stupid thing and quit moving and he'll begin to trade with Diego which would lead to his annihilation.

Corrales by 6th or 7th round KO.

Considering Manfredy was destroyed by Chico, and Manfredy stopped Gatti, Chico takes this by stoppage.

I know styles make fights, and Gatti's style would get him caught with too many big shots.

Would be a good fight, but I'd take Chico by stoppage. Both had underrated boxing skills, but Corrales outboxed Casamayor in the second fight and outfought Castillo in the first fight. I think he could take what Gatti could give and knock him out.

Gatti actually had good footspeed/legs and alright boxing skills, I think he'd try to fight this way at first, but I suspect his success in this area wouldn't last long. His defense was so leaky, especially for a straight right hand. Corrales would catch him with some shots, and eventually stop Gatti. If and when Gatti brawls, his hooks are so much wider than Chico's. Corrales was great at being effective with short punches, the punches were quick and didn't have to travel as much distance. He would beat Gatti to the punch consistently and stop him.

Would have been great while it lasted. but Gatti left his chin open to throw, and Chico was good at finding those openings at those moments. Both guys would have had to have been REALLY careful if they stung the other guy. I can see Chico stinging Gatti, going in for the kill and getting caught, or the other way around. I still feel Chico would take the win.:bbb

Well Gatti is a very live underdog here.... Anything could happen when these guys start throwing bombs.... But more times than not ill take Corrales.. Overall he just had better skills and even the harder puncher(atleast at JL and LW)... Both guys took a few beatings in their careers.. But Corrales also blew out some pretty good figters,,, WHere Gatti sometimes struggled just to beat gatekeeper types.. ,, At their best Corrales was more dominant. and at one time on every ones PFP list, even ater a big loss(usually to excellent fighers) he managed to always creep back in to the top 15-20 pfp list....
Dont recall Gatti coming close to being a top 10 pfp,, even at his peak maybe top 20 at best(JL days) for a short period.. Both of these guys actually had some boxing skills, good handspeed. but rather give everyone "ROCKY" type fights...

More times than not Corrales pulls this out ,,, But if they fought a triology i could see Gatti puling out a win .. By way of comeback dramatic KO....

Gatti hits hard, but Chico hit like a truck for 135 pounder. When you consider the strength, size and reach advantages for Corrales and the fact he's at least as effective on the inside as Gatti, it's hard to think of a way that Arturo could win. If he tries to use the boxing skills he did have, Corrales is coming after with a longer reach to nullify his straight punches. If he tries to take it inside, Corrales is going to be right there with him, hitting back harder.

Both guys will keep coming until they're hamburger, but you have to favor Corrales by stoppage, somewhere between rounds 5-10.

Yey i was impressed with Valero,, but dont get carried away now.. Id only make Valero a slight favorite against Corrales who would have been his first major test. WHere this wouldnt be Corrales first rodeo going against some pretty tough oppositon Prime or near prime guys Mayweather,Castillo 2x, Freitas,Casamyor,Garicai, Manfredy etc etc .. Id only make Valero Maybe 6.5 to 5 favorite.
