how can this be terrible ?both were warriors and gatti was as game as they come. the kid could definitely box so whos winning this matchup how and why? im inclined to think gatti comes on late for the win after chocolate has built a comfortable lead and tries to coast on to victory..
S,have u forgotten the fact that Kid Chocalate in his prime was considered by boxing people as highly regarded as Ray Robinson was a generation later.? Dissipation, and night life shortened his prime, and oh yes, a fellow by the name of Tony Canzoneri, didn;t help ! Chocolate by tko, over the game but overmatched Gatti...,
C'mon man...get over that acerbic bull****...Gatti fought with his heart. He problably had bowel movements tougher than you are.
What boxer half as good as Chocolate did Gatti ever beat? And since when is fighting with heart an indicator of greatness. Let me guess, Mickey Ward was also great? Chocolate didnt usually rely on power but I bet hed stop Gatti on cuts at the very least. He was fast of both hand and foot and would pick Gatti apart with ease. They are a different pedegree. How anyone would expect Gatti to beat a legitimate ATG is beyond me.
I did not say that...they are on different levels. But to call someone "****" is just outright obnoxious and disrespectful. Gatti DID fight with his heart and always gave fans good fights...and guess what? I would say it mattered to him...In this age where it seems it is a rarity for fighters to actually fight and want to, Arturo Gatti's out look is worth praise not disparagement.
Well, then let me rephrase... I think Gatti was ****. Gatti was definately **** in comparison to Chocolate. Chocolate beats that ass.
That´s like a 4th league club against the champions league winner in football terms, the real thing not the American stuff.
This :yep Eh, I won't get butthurt, I haven't seen enough of chocolate to really give a legit unbiased opinion.
