Probably not...but I'd still like to show you guys that don't visit the lounge my latest for some Mate in Ireland, ed7890.

He said I did a "savage job" on it & even said it was looking "deadly" when I sent him a sneek peek of it before it was done...

Who would argue that it's a classic trilogy?

Both fighters are retired (one deceased) and it had already attained historical significance in the sport before it was even over, despite being all 10-rounders.

    Of course it's classic.

    Nice piece, btw.

How could you even justify them not being great, classic fights?

Your painting excellently depicts the sheer brutality of the truly classic war which was their 1st and greatest fight.

In the same way that deaths in entertainment sell movies and music, Gatti's tragic death elevates the trilogy even higher.

Don't get me wrong I loved Gatti (RIP) and the first fight was a barnburner but for its generation its no Barrera - Morales.

Well Barrera-Morales 1 serves as maybe the best fight of all time in my opinion. I don't think Gatt-Ward 1 can be doubted though. Not full of skill and the fighters aren't great, definitely not Ward by any stretch of the imagination, but a tremendous and great fight that is, no doubt at all in my mind.

Also, i don't think Gatti's death has anything to do with that trilogy being rated high in comparison to what it was when he was alive. When he was alive it was rated exactly the same as now, whether that's overrated or underrated

Could you take a crack at this?

B&W would be awesome enough, but if you felt ambitious enough to try and shade in the colors...

I consider the first fight to be a classic, and the 9th round to be a classic round.

Well it's all opinion and the quality of a fight is in the eye of the beholder, but i strongly disagree.
