Gatti vs Ward Trilogy Overrated ?

    Sometimes these trilogies can be entertaining but then other times they can become like watching reruns on the late late show.

    No way especially the first fight.
    I've seen all the fights and that's the only fight I have ever watched where I thought that someone was going to literally die.
    I still have absolutely no idea how Gatti survived that 9th round. Truly amazing.
    2nd fight I have no idea how Ward made it out of the round.
    3rd fight was pretty good but nothing at all like the first which was fine because they earned it.

    Overrated or not its up there with one of the greatest trilogies of all time.

    Regarding fight no 2-if you take it out if the trilogy context and you simply watch it for what it is-it s truly highly entertsining.Yes Gatti boxed nicely but he was still getting hit and Ward’s intensity always brought the sense that it could change at any time.
    Oh and round 3 is just AWESOME.
