Gatti/Ward Trilogy vs Barrera/Morales Trilogy

    Arguably 2 of the best, action-packed trilogies of all time. Which trilogy did you enjoy more??

    For me, as much as I love MAB and EM. I think Gatti/Ward edges them out, I enjoyed them a little bit more as all 3 fights were just straight up brutal and savage brawls.

    Either way, one thing's for sure all these fighters have massive willpower and the biggest of hearts in all of boxing. You can't just stop appreciating them.

    its really no contest......MAB vs EM had 2 of the best fighters of this era...Gatti vs Ward was good but it was 2 club fighters really

    Morales-MAB because it had no true clear cut winner and was fought at a higher level of skill.

    Marquez-Vasquez is being fought on that level IMO.

    That's really a tough one. I wouldn't call Gatti or Ward club fighters, but their trilogy was just not as intense of Barrera-Morales. Maybe because both were world class fighters at their peak. Personally, I perfer the Pacquiao-Morales trilogy to either of the two mentioned here.

    Nelson vs leija

    Barrera vs Morales may be in league w/ some of these, but gatti/ ward talent level is to far below to make their entertaining scraps on par w/ these...imo

    In my mind MAB vs Morales those two were truly GREAT, Gatti vs Ward will come at 2nd place and I'll be waiting what will happen between Rafael Marquez and Israel Vazquez III because after that they will be a 2nd or 1st place (too much skill between those two)

    Both were great trilogies and will be rightfully remembered by boxing fans forever. But I enjoyed Barrera/Morales more; both were A class HOF caliber fighters. The skill displayed, even in the most vicious exchanges, was a sight to behold.

    barrera vs morales because they TRULY hate eachother and you can see it with the punches they throw.

    Absolutely. One (Barrera and Morales) was a trilogy with two fighters who were on top of their sport, with high skill levels, and still brawling it out.

    Gatti vs Ward was a trilogy of two guys who were made for each other in terms of styles meshing into a brawl but they werent the best in the sport by any means.

    I think Vasquez and Marquez shits all over the Gatti Ward trilogy too.

    ITs a no contest. Gatti and Ward are not top level fighters. They were both exciting yes but were in a lower level than both MAB and Morales.
    I would have to give this one to them.
    Gatti and Ward were a little more exciting though but MAB and Morales are ATG.
