Caught it on HBO the other night... oh my gosh! My favorite trilogy now, and the first and 3rd fights are two of the most exciting and brilliant fights I've ever seen. What warriors, but great fighters and boxers. So well matched for each other, Gatti has the edge in talent, handspeed, boxing and combination punching but Ward always had an answer to even it out and make it competitive. What do you all think of these fights? The third was perhaps the most epic to me, for a variety of reasons, including the broken hand and how back-and-forth it was at times. And why the Hell isn't Big George commenting on fights anymore?
i watched all 3 fights too and all were classics. the 2nd fights' gotta be one of, if not the best performance of gatti's career.
