In a few days, we will have the press conference detailing the facts leading to the conclusion that Gatti was murdered.

Things are so closed off in Nicaragua that there will probably never be a real investigation into Arguello's death.

Sadly I see a site selling his Boxing Hall of Fame Ring.
Note that the description contains this: "...His July 2009 death by gunshot to the heart was ruled a suicide, but many in Nicaragua suspect instead that Arguello was murdered for political reasons."

I don't know man, Arguello had suicidal thoughts before and admitted he wanted to kill himself. Just read that story posted on here from 1985 where he said he once held a gun to his head infront of his son. I know from my life experiences that if a person tries to kill themself they're likely to try it again.

That story is apparently bull**** according to Arguello and his son.

I dont know any of the facts, but the FSLN sure sound guilty in my head. And who the hell commits suicide by shooting themselves in the chest?

On the flip side, who would shoot him in the torso in an attempt to fake his suicide?

A gunman shooting a man in the chest sounds alot more probable. And that doesnt even matter, even if he was chainsawed in half the Nicaraguan police would still claim its a suicide. Its a political ting

    I always considered that too.
Probably implies that he was not immobilzed when they killed him.
