Gatti has abused women in the past, this is common knowledge. I wouldnt be surprised if this was the case and she was sick of getting battered. Right now she is just a suspect

Little different circumstances. Mcnairs gf was only 20 yrs old and he was married yet the mistress was jealous he was cheating on her with another woman (not mcnairs wife).

Gatti reportedly was again drunken badly and was verbally abusive to his wife, given Gatti;s history we can surmise what happened.

Gatti has a bad history outside the ring with women. You cant abuse women and expect to get away with it forever. This is an older article, but there is a pattern.

The Montreal-born fighter was first arrested last month and charged with assault on his girlfriend. But neither Gatti or his lawyer showed up for his arraignment on April 7, which led to his arrest Wednesday night at a Montreal strip club where he was reportedly celebrating his birthday.
Gatti, 37, was released on $2,000 bail and a promise not to consume drugs or alcohol and to stay away from his former girlfriend and her son.
He's due back in court on June 5.

i wouldn't spend a vacation in Brazil without 100 bodyguards, given the amount of money he has made.

being that his wife is brazilian. this is a hit.

 

To be fair it's WAY too early to make the assumption that Gatti was abusing his wife and she gigged him in self defense. It's also way early to assume that his wife was in on a scheme to take his life and his cash.

This really seems like the ONLY innocent party is the kid.
