It's not out of the question that he could beat him. Ionut Dan Ion definitely beat him. Is Ionut Dan Ion on another level to Frankie? I don't know but wouldn't think so.

God, the Brummies asking questions from the crowd were absolute tossers.

I like Frankie, but he should distance himself from twats like that, or at least keep them and his boxing seperate. Curtis has no chance, but it's hard not to root for him after watching that, he came across well, and as a bloke who is well aware of his place in the boxing ranks.

Some people forget that Kindelan was an ATG amateur. And he was a fully grown man when you fought him, yes?

Exactly, as I say, Savon-Tua :deal

Also, Frankie shows in that video he knows this fight is below him. The matchmakers at ****en are taking the ****, Frankie knows Woodhouse, whilst a nice enough bloke he has a fanbase, is a domestic level fighter, and not one of the top ones at that.

Gavin would beat him again, comfortably.

I really think this fight is a bit pointless, Woodhouse with all due respect is having TOO much of a step up in fighting Gavin. He's done exceptionally well adapting to the pro game from being a footballer, however Gavin has lived and breathed boxing since he was a kid, and will hand down a lesson to Woodhouse.

Frankly after beating Young Muttley even despite it being a bit of a snoozefest of a fight, he did it comfortably and was never troubled. That shows he's ready for the European level. I hope Woodhouse actually manages to keep this fight interesting, but i just can't see it happening. Although he has a little bit of zip in his punches, he leaves himself too open to counters.

Muttley is abysmal nowadays, Gavin is ready for European level at 147 probably a fight or two ago IMO, he was bowling over useful domestic level operators with ease.

I'd give him a durable ex-World level contender at 147 and then move him back to 140 for top 20 opposition right away. No point wasting time with this lad, he's a class act, he doesn't need all these uninspiring fights.

'Sports Network' (;-)) are dropping the ball (again) IMO. Looks like it's 30-0 and against nobody for Gavin and then a steep jump up (which he's ready for now!) against someone who, in the Pro game, he was faced no one near the level of.

Gavin has a lot of tools, so he's obviously not going to fall apart at World level like say, Mitchell did, but surely if Clev can be put in against fringe contenders/Euro class at his age, with his fights and his skill level, then why Frankie is languishing fighting the likes of Muttley and Woodhouse I don't know.

One good thing: he only fought recently. I'd be happy for him to face this level of oppo' for the rest of the year if he was fighting once a month, but 3 times at good contender level at 140 next year, surely?!? He's obviously one of our best prospects, and doesn't need mollycoddling.

Goes well with your frock.

Not a patch on my brown leather satchel though. If there is anything going on tomorrow I might bobb up.

Anyway, back to the fight. I like Woodhouse, admire what he has done and his pluck, but he is going to get provided with a masterclass in Liverpool. Just hope Frankie doesnt feel like he has to go for the KO and ignores his boxing.

I watched frankie toy with selchuk!! He played with him that much that Selchuk threw him on the floor and punched him in the back of the head! He was unreal that day Frankie! Selchuk went on to attack the ref and was banned for years by the boxing comitee! Frankie would frustrate the life out of Selchuk!

I keep saying it but Frankie gavin is the best about and ain't no one gonna expose him! Ive watched him take pro's and top level am's apart too!! His senses are second to none, We should enjoy watching him cos fighters like him come along once every decade! if not 2 decades!! Allhe needs now is experience and he's the complete package for me!!

he'll be the face of british boxing soon enough!:good

I hope so Tony, in terms of skillset he's the most promising I've seen in years.
