Referee looks incredibly annoyed at everything, and I love it

 

Not too surprising a stoppage.

Perez didn't really want it

 

It was a perplexing performance. It's like instead of keeping his guard up, he opted to make his defense by sinking low and occasionally falling down. I get the referee's annoyance (assuming he was and doesn't just generally look/act that way), it was a bit of a frustrating watch too.

 

It wasn't a great watch.


I think the ref may have seen him as a bit of a time waster, for want of a better phrase. Lol

 

Agreed. The stoppage was as much due to the punishment he was taking as it was the ref just wanting to spare himself and everyone else of having to see anymore of him spoiling in the worst possible way

 

This is like the fourth or fifth time I've heard Can't Stop as a ring walk song. Not complaining or anything, just an observation I've had. Hell it was in the first boxing event I tuned in for

Makes me wonder what song is most often used as a ring walk song. Something from the Rocky movies has to be up there, I imagine.

 

Why does Gwynne's tattoo look like he has some kinda ****ed up skin rot. I've seen some bad tattoos but that one is way up there.

 

Good first round for Marsili. Had Gwynne buzzed pretty good about halfway through.

 

Another Marsili round. Gwynne started landing some good stuff near the end, but then Marsili got him turned around and ended with a nice little barrage of punches.

 

I'd give round 3 to Marsili for the workrate, though Gwynne is starting to land a bit more and is landing the heavier blows.

 

Round 4 is easily Marsili's. He's outworking Gwynne and making him follow him around the ring.

Still early in the fight, curious if he can do this the whole 12.
