    R1 Vargas 10-9
    R2 McDonnell 10-9
    R3 Vargas 10-9
    R4 Vargas 10-9
    R5 McDonnell 10-9
    R6 Vargas 10-9
    R7 Vargas 10-9
    R8 Vargas 10-9
    R9 Vargas 10-9 close
    R10 McDonnell 10-9
    R11 McDonnell 10-9

This is why I'm keen on giving a fighter his due early in the fight. Vargas fading and taking clean shots. McDonnell controlled this entire round seizing the momentum he had from the last round. McDonnell could've taken the last 3 rounds, he's in this.

Gavin McDonnell vs. Rey Vargas 12 Rounds @ Super Bantamweight

Round 1. Vargas 10-9. Good round for Vargas, clearly on top although nothing major landed.
Round 2. Vargas 10-9. A bit closer, but Vargas did the better work again.
Round 3. Vargas 10-9. Very much like Round 1. Vargas warned for a low blow, I sense point deduction coming.
Round 4. Vargas 10-9. Closest round so far, but Vargas still winning it. McDonnell pushed Vargas to the ground midway through.
    Round 5. McDonnell 10-9 close.
    Round 6. Vargas 10-9 close.
Round 7. Vargas 10-9. Good round for Vargas, won this one clearly.
Round 8. Vargas 10-9 close. Vargas started on top, McDonnell won the second minute, then Vargas closed strong.
Round 9. McDonnell 10-9 close. Close round, given to McDonnell on aggression.
Round 10. McDonnell 10-9. His punches were more damaging.
Round 11. McDonnell 10-9 close. Vargas may need to win this last round to get the decision.
    Round 12. Vargas 10-9 close.

Good fight. Credit to both, but Vargas has this with a few rounds in hand
