    Round 1 Vargas 10-9
    Round 2 Vargas 10-9
    Round 3 Vargas 10-9
    Round 4 Vargas 10-9

Vargas ands a series of flicking jabs, circling to his left keeping Gavin distracted with the jab, Vargas lands overhand right, Vargas pushes Vargas down, lead right left hook from Vargas, spiteful right to the ribs from Vargas, Gavin took it well, Gavin lands right to the temple of Vargas, Vargas comes right back with one two. Closer but still Vargas.

Gavin McDonnell vs. Rey Vargas 12 Rounds @ Super Bantamweight

Round 1. Vargas 10-9. Good round for Vargas, clearly on top although nothing major landed.
Round 2. Vargas 10-9. A bit closer, but Vargas did the better work again.
Round 3. Vargas 10-9. Very much like Round 1. Vargas warned for a low blow, I sense point deduction coming.
Round 4. Vargas 10-9. Closest round so far, but Vargas still winning it. McDonnell pushed Vargas to the ground midway through.

    R1 Vargas 10-9
    R2 McDonnell 10-9
    R3 Vargas 10-9
    R4 Vargas 10-9

I feel like that body work is starting to slow mcDonnell. Vargas landing a good right hand. Still not a lot landing clean but he was better going to the body.

Vargas reminds me of a prime Ricky Burns. That's a compliment, he's got a great jab and lovely variety.

Vargas isn't liking those body shots, first sign of weakness

Funny how the round is closer when Mcdonnell lands one punch (up top), than the one where he landed at least 6 clean shots in round 2. Whatever dawg.

4-1 McDonnell should have jumped on him there but didn't
