    Is this true ?

If Gavin can make 140 it begs the question, "what took u so bloody long "

Always looked too small to mix it with top WWs

He must be swapping beans on toast for fishfingers.

It's a good move. He should have done it ages ago!

Had to laugh when I read a BN from last week or the week before where he reckons he'd beat Berto! The lad is a dreamer.

Will he be able to make the weight though, is the question...

    It's 7 pounds. Hardly 7 stone.

He could have a dump in the morning, go to the sauna, drink tons of water, have another dump and he'd lose it.

It's all mental with him. He needs to change his lifestyle and actually LEARN about what is good nutrition and when it's a good time to eat good food.

He's mentally weak. And to think that having that extra 7lbs is doing him A SINGLE FAVOUR just goes to show how clueless/non-dedicated he is.

Exactly, it's sad to say but I fear in the future he will fail to manage weights again moving down. Right choice on paper, but in practice may not be so easy for him.

Probably thought he could mix it with the top WWs in the world, before Brook gave him a reality check.

I don't think he'll fare much better at 140, as I just don't think he's good enough to cut it at world level, professionally. But at least it's the weight that he should be fighting at... albeit 5 years late.

It would seem he's doing a Tony Bellew towards Lightweight.. but he'll get bored of 140 quickly and be back.

Strength of 147 suprised him.. Khan is naturally a big guy for the lower weights.. so it doesn't affect him as much.

I love to see him fight Broner at 140. I think Gavin gives that boy a boxing lesson.
