    Over at the scene.

He says he has sparred with Ricky and Broner is too fast and too powerful.

What do you think ESB? Fact or fiction?

Sparing with pillows is different to a real fight, when did Rees last spar Ricky?

Ricky has improved vastly in a short period of time.

Naw....I don't really think it's a good Idea to listen to what a fighter says. I'd rather hear what these experts in the ESB General Forum has to say about a fight between Broner vs Burns.

Aye, tend to agree. Broner will be too much for Burns IMO.

Sparring is sparring and that's it. I think Burn's biggest advantage over most of the people Broner fights is his size, he won't be bullied in the ring no where near as easily.

Fact. BUT. The winner of the Burns-Vazquez fighte emerges as the stiffest test for Broner and a step up. You don't know until you know.

    Agreed.

But wasn't DeMarco supposed to be Broner's stiffest test? I felt Broner didn't really get the credit he deserved for the victory over DeMarco. I dont think it will change when he beats Burns.

    Mayweather syndrome.

For real though, sparring means nothing.

If it did, we could conclude Ivan Calderon UD's Oscar and Mosley, and Duran KO1 Horse.

    Some people did, some didn't.

Some people tried to relate it to Floyd over Corrales, to which I say, those people overvalued the **** out of the win. It's on par with Floyds' win over Judah, not much more if any.

NEWSFLASH: Broner said he's NOT waiting for Burns.

I never heard Broner call out Vasquez, and I guess he doesn't want to fight Vasquez. The public will demand a Vasquez fight if Burns loses.

Broner said to Sky Sport “If Ricky Burns don’t fight me then I’m just going to go up in weight. That’s the fight I’ve been wanting. Ricky Burns, fight me. You was supposed to fight me this time. You ran again. You were supposed to fight me at 130 at first. You ran.”

It's definitely not on par with Floyd's win over Corrales but a damn good one for the young Broner.

I was impressed by the way he handled DeMarco and put a pounding on him in close quarters.

Burns immense UK hype will make it seem a bigger win for Broner but it actually wouldn't mean more than then win over DeMarco at all.
