Considering there was a huge gap in size, skill and power I think Rees did reasonably well and went out on his shield. There is no shame in losing as long as you give it your best.

Rees tried extremely hard to win ya dumb jealous Englishman! The only reason Rees won any rounds was because Broner made it possible. Broner didnt throw for 2 rounds!

Burns is your typical ducking UK jack off just like Lennox Lewis and Joe Calzaghe.

I think Rees did very well for a midget who was unknown. He was picked to lose the fight. It so appears that HBO will not allow Broner to fight anyone really good. Broner refused to fight Guerrero. Watch the video..............

Rees tried his ass off are you kidding me? Burns vs Rees would be a close fight. Kotelnik took until round 12 to KO Rees! Reese is decent and worldclass just not on Broners level.

I will do a ban bet with anyone that thinks Burns can beat Broner if Burns ever fights him.

Yes that famed puncher Kotelnic. Rees must of had a jaw of sheer granite to stand up to his bombs for 12 rounds.

And you think Rees v Burns would be a close fight? How is a man with no reach and no movement going to get inside Burns? Burns would shut him out for 12 rounds or until he got stopped.

You sound like a complete fanboy - 'Reese is worldclass'? He's Euro-level mate. Stop trying to talk up your mans opponents it comes across as desperate.

Rees isn't great but he's a former world champ a division higher and has been in the top 10 of both divisions for some time now.....that= worldclass dummy...... it was a horrid mismatch fromt he start regardless of Rees being worldclass or not just like the Burns vs Broner fight would be.

and Burns would not stop Rees let alone do it by the 5th. Kotelnik is a damn good fighter, better than Burns.....you should know him if you're a fan of boxing......you sound like a casual fan. maybe you should stick to the domestic scene where you can big up your local hypejobs.

They have no way to back that up. Who has Vasquez beat that's even as good as DeMarco or Rees? ..an overhyped Gesta?

Burns might not do it, but Mathysee would decapitate Broner

I know who kotelnic is. I also know he couldn't crack an egg.

Rees won a version of the world title against someone I cant remember being all that memorable and lost it on his first defence. He's a good euro level opperator but he's not world level. If you need to kid yourself into thinking he is though I understand.

it was M'Baye who is actually pretty good and drew with Kotelnik and was worldclass for many years at 140 and after losing to Rees picked up a vacant belt at 147 by clearly beating Decarie who just whupped prospect Perez on HBO a few months back...... sorry if it's hard for you to understand that being top 10 spanning 2 divisions for a good part of a decade= worldclass.....doesn't mean you're a world beater and like I said it was a mismatch.....just as Burns vs Broner would be....just as Demarco vs Broner was..... Broners a level above the rest of the LW's. I think he'll be the class of the 140 division too. Matthysse stands the best chance vs Broner. Rios would be a cakewalk, Khan would get glass shattered obviously.... Garcia would be another good fight that would give Broner all he could handle.

    You tit.

Lewis and Calzaghe didn't duck anybody and beat the **** out of your best in the process. Remember Jeff Lacey? All you ignorant, uneducated, inbred yanks were sucking his **** and Calzaghe took him to school.

Also, speaking of ducking, what about your Devon Alexander? He's **** scared of Kell Brook and keeps ducking him.

Someone needs to watch the first round again.

If that isn't taking the fight to someone in an attempt to win, I don't know what is.
