Gavin rees now mandatory for John murrays euro belt

I agree on the promoter issue. I hope he signs with Warren.

It's only the British title, he'll still be Euro champ. Murray needs to be fighting current World level fighters and internationally recognised names in order to get towards that Katsidis/Marquez fight.

IMO Rees isn't that level now, one night 3 years ago he fought a great fight against M'Baye but beyond that he's pretty average. He should of retired after Kotelnik as he almost did. Rees as he now is, is one of those fighters that refs need to watch very carefully, the guy could end up hurting himself badly, a combination of a granite chin, amazing heart but not the youth/skills/conditioning to protect himself. Murray would really hurt the guy.

I think Murray would win this fight but underestimate Rees at your peril.

Rees wins this if it happens hes a come forward fighter like John but smaller so that will suit Rees more when there in the pocket, also Rees is very underestimated and hes a faster puncher than John, although John seems to place his shots better imo.

 

I think Murray should move on and get a worthwhile fight, or he's gonna be forever doomed to fighting domestic/european level fights. **** or get off the pot, John.

 

very good assesment, but i think an important point could be johns very good wiskers, i see john winning a tough fight very late stoppage, his will to win is very underestimated, he'll only come unstuck by some wicked punching american, who has the power to short cicuit him.:good
