The point I was making was that Jason Matthews beating Rhodes at middle for the strap means less imo than Rees beating M'baye for the WBA world title. Rhodes is a quality fighter but very blunt at middle being a short limbed 5'8" he was not strong or powerfull enough - this being proved by Ryans terrible form at the weight after a stirling effort against O Grant and the fact Rhodes in his 30's can still make Light Mid no problem. I think you lost sight of this.

 

I was wondering why this thread was so big seeming as the subject is not that interesting. Proper ***** fight on the go it seems.
