GBP and Khan Promotions messed up big time by allowing the fight in D.C

Khans own fault. He states he wants to fight anybody anywhere, then he loses and now he's a whiner about it.
Peterson was a mandatory no options could be enforced on Peterson for a rematch clause.
Khan lost because he could not adjust mid fight to the pressure, he had no answer except to push off and look at the ref. If he could have adjusted he would have listened to the ref who was warning him about pushing, stopped it and probably won the fight.
He has bigger things to correct than worrying about this loss, but there in lies his problem, he doesn't think he does, he learned no humility, he still thinks he will beat everybody and the only reason he lost is because the fight was in DC and the ref sucked. That's a problem for him.

I think from a boxing stand point, Khan and Roach know where the problems are, and will focus and work im those area's they have too otherwise he risks losing to Peterson again, all be it this time in a fair venue.

If it happens. Khan has done himself no favors with his mouth to help get a rematch done.
Even if the IBF were to order an immediate rematch it doesn't mean it will happen. Peterson may just give up that belt and go fight Bradley with the other belt.
I'm certain Arum wants to pull Peterson over to the dark side and have him fight Bradley possibly on the undercard of Pacs next fight in the spring, then the winner would likely face Pac in the fall. That is what Khan and GB are up against now and they know it. This is the whole reason they are grasping at straws trying to get a rematch ordered, because its about the only leg they stand on at this point, and that leg is very weak.

The fight being in DC didn't play a factor in Khan performing below par. His inability to deal with Peterson's gameplan, is what made the fight so close. The city, the judges, and the ref can't be blamed for that.

Yes I agree, and as was a closer than expected, and with the ref deducting points, it left Khan out.

Even with the deductions I had Khan winning by one or two rounds.

That's normal, not putting the other belt up seems like you not confident you will win.

I thought this too. Ref was ok but Khan could of had the ref in his pocket like he did against Maidana.
All in all it was fair on the night but if Khan hadn't of under estimated him he coulda won. He believed the 9/1 hype when looking at their best wins loses it was even.

Well say what you want about not looking confident by not putting the other belt up but Khan would still have a world title now if he hadn't. In the end being over confident cost him. He shouldn't be worried what people say on the forums anyway.
