    “Leo Santa Cruz is coming off of a good fight, and Abner Mares is coming off of a tough fight,” De La Hoya told RingTV.com on Monday. “And they’re both ready to step up. The same goes for Amir Khan and Guerrero.”

    A great venue for Khan and Guerrero, and maybe where that fight belongs, would be the Barclays Center in New York,” said De La Hoya. “The fans are just amazing at The Barclays Center, and I believe that we can close out the year with a big fight like that at The Barclays Center in December. If not December, then, early next year.”

    interesting thing here is that if Khan wins the scores will be compared to how May handled the Ghost. This could be some statement of intent

    GB doing a different show instead of Khan at Barclays on 12/6 "@3boysboxing: hoping we're going to see #KhanGuerrero on 12/6 @barclayscenter

    He could fight on the 13th, i guess but that clashes with Bradley and maybe Andrade/Charlo

    Very good and tough fight for Khan if it happens. It will show how far he's gone with Hunter. The Ghost will walk him down and give him constant pressure. He didn't do so well against Peterson when he walked down Khan, so this will be a very tricky fight for him.

    Also the inevitable comparisons between the way Floyd fought him, should Khan win.
