Actually I agree, I would love to see Cotto/Canelo, think it'd be a helluva fight.

agreed. ive read jack and have pretty much always more or less agreed with him.

i have no idea what hes thinking regarding the validity and credibility of cotto/canelo.

in my opinion, canelo would be a -500.

how in the world can you justify a -500 fight as being competitive?

    huge?

    canelos 5'7"

he looks huge to people that arent fighting back and to 5'6" blown-up welterweight cotto. agaisnt trout, he will be the smaller man and also will be the first time fighting a southpaw and a full-blown legit 154.

everyone in the division is calling him out because theyve watched the film and they are going to hit saul back...hard. you have the whole ****ing division calling him out. no one is scared of "little" saul alvarez.

when was the last time a 5'7" jmw(normally 5'9-5'11") was dominant? hes undersized for the division with no one shot ko power.

undersized fighters who were succesful in the last 30 years were hagler, duran, toney, tyson, griffen, tua.

thats what people are trying to make out canelo to be. wouldnt suprise me at all if he gets exposed like aa once he stepped up to 168 as a guy that succeeded by simply bullying people.

im so confident that canelo will be exposed ill bet anyone here(with over two years and 1000 posts) on a lifetime esb ban that saul loses before he beats three boxrec.com top 5 ranked jmw's from this point forward(the ryan rhodes fight does not count).

    talk is cheap.

back the **** up if you think you know what youre talking about.

Calling out assholes for wishing someone dead is picking a side. Just not the one you think.

If Saul is a "champion" he needs to fight the winner, not the looser. You 'picking the side' of GBP here? Looks like it. You are enabling their cherry picking and coddling.

Fyi Rhodes was s full blown Jr mw and had even campaigned at 160, canelo still muscled him, and Rhodes fought southpaw a lot and canelos right was doing great damage.

also who cares about canelos height he is built stocky like Tyson or ggg and doesnt need to be tall and lanky as it wouldn't suit his style he's not trying to outbox u but intelligently walk you down. he does have massive power in every punch definitely is more explosive and harder hitting then trout Lara or cotto

    Hoping they choose trout

Bull **** fights? What the hell has Bradley done since "winning" the fight with Pacman.**** all and nobody cares about him.Same with Trout, nobody cares. Are you actually telling us that Trout vs Canelo is bigger and a better fight than Cotto vs Canelo?
The sport of boxing is about entertainment, exciting fights and MONEY.This is something Cotto and Canelo will provide.

Cotto v Canelo is still a good fight.

Just because Cotto lost to Trout doesn't mean he's not on the level of Alvarez.

Just cause Alvarez is undefeated doesn't mean he's on a pedestal above Cotto.

And people wonder why promoters feed them garbage. As soon as a fighter loses the fans think he should get tossed aside, and when a fighter is undefeated the fans think he is some kind of deity.

    idiots.

I can see someone saying that losing to Trout takes Cotto out of the PBF/Pac conversation, but Canelo? wake up people.

Trout deserves this fight. But this isn't the 1st time we've seen this.

Floyd fought Zab in a similar situation, and Pac Morales 2 was damn near the same situation.

If Canelo doesn't end up fighting Trout eventually, then we can crucify him,but I think eventually we do see Trout-Canelo. Trout going to keep making noise in the division.

so now youre comparing canleo to tyson and ggg(who is ggg anyway, hes proven nothing)?

    okay.

i think its safe to say that you are the biggest supporter of canelo and im one of the biggest detractors of alvarez.

lets make a bet that canelo loses before he beats three top 5 ranked jmws(by boxrec.com) and the loser of said bet leaves the esb forum forever. the ryan rhodes fight does not count.

    what do you say?

    im up for it.

    all day.

well call it the adrian peterson bet.

because thats how confident i am of not losing.

    all day.

Pavlik fought Martinez after martinez lost a fight. Pavlik fought Hopkins after Hopkins lost a fight. I mean mygoodness. Yeah he wasnt the champ at 170 pound catchweight but he was the champ at 160 pounds in which shows you shouldnt even talk.

Odds might be quite tempting for betting.

Does Cotto have legs left for post-fight tantrum remains to be seen.

i dont recall alfonso gomez or josesito lopez having very many fans.

and excatly who was ryan rhodes? had he ever even been on hbo or shotime before? i dont remember but id have to say a big , fat NO.

seems like the "im going to revenge my brothers loss" seems a bit more viable as it worked pretty well with wlad and vitali.

but then again, vitali is a real champion.

at this point, there is no defending saul "la perra corriendo" alvarez.
