GBP looking for Cotto-Mosley 2

I wouldn't mind seeing this fight again, but I would rather see Cotto-Mayweather first.

 

No! Cotto should fight Margarito first then fight Mayweather. Mayweather should forget De la Hoya aswell. Cotto vs Mayweather is the fight boxing needs.

 

It seems obvious that Golden Boy Promotions wants another Hatton-Mayweather fight as they have contracts with both. They're simply trying to kill time that isn't there. If Cotto beats Margarito he really doesn't have to fight anyone but Mayweather and Golden Boy ain't interested.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch. The first fight was close and entertaining. Mosley deserves a rematch.

If Cotto gets by Margarito, and Clottey beats Judah. Arum will make Cotto vs. Clottey to unify, since they are both Top Rank fighters. That's been his plan for this year from the beginning. If Judah wins the IBF belt, it's a whole different story. Cotto could rematch Judah to unify, rematch Mosley, or maybe the Quintana-Williams winner. The Mayweather fight isn't happening this year.

 

...and depending how the Margarito/Cotto fight goes. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a part 2 right away. If it's a close, FOTY type fight and it goes the distance, and does good on PPV. They'll make a rivalry out of this. They're both TOP RANK fighters.

 

Cotto stops Mosley this time around. I woudnt mind seen the fight if Mayweather/Cotto cannot be secured for the end of the year.

 

I think i am one of the few who had Cotto winning a competitive fight in a clear manner. 116-112.

For a rematch? Why not the first fight was good. GBP are only looking for this fight so Oscar has a clear run at Joy:-(

 

Im huge mosley fan and I think he have a decent chance to win rematch, but it seems that GBP just wants to block Cotto vs Mayweather and possible returnt to their plans to set up Mayweather vs Mosley if Mosley manages to win.

I think this was their plan all along--> Mosley wins against Cotto, Mayweather signs to fight Mosley more money for GBP. Maby Im thinking too deep but Mayweather did mention Mosleys name first after Merchant asked about possible fight with Cotto...dunno just seems fishy.
If I were Cottos promoter Id stay away from Mosley and just keep knocking other dudes in welterweight until Floyd agrees to fight.

Part of me wants Shane to have another chance against Cotto (becouse I believe he can win) but on the other hand Cotto vs Mayweather would be something huge for boxing,undefeated fighters at their prime fighting for p4p throne, its just dont get better than this.

 

A rematch between Cotto & Mosley would be good, but forget that right now.. Cotto vs Mayweather needs to happen.. If Cotto defeats Margarito, he doesn't have to beat anyone else to prove that he is the top challenger in the WW division.. I don't know if GBP are trying to block a Cotto vs Mayweather fight or if they are trying to set up a Mosley vs Mayweather fight.. Cotto defeated Mosley and does not need to fight him again.. It just seems like GBP is up to something, and if it doesn't involve Cotto vs Mayweather or has a possible affect on a Cotto vs Mayweather fight, then ****in' boo.. I guess it all depends on Arum, whether or not if he wants to accept GBP's offer..

 

I want to see it. Shane can still fight, and he packs a punch, some of those body shots from the last fight could be heard 15 rows back.

 

This fight was close like DLH/PBF was close, so why not?
Though I hope they don't plan to do that after the Margarito fight and after PBF's fight with DLH, really want to see PBF fight Cotto instead.

If I'm Shane...I'd leave it where it is. He fought a great fight. At his age, it was an outstanding thing to not only fight Cotto in his fight, but take his best punch, over and over, and hardly flinch. On top of that, he gave as good as he got. I had it a draw.

But he won't do any better at this point. It still says how much a legend Shane is...the guy has balls of steel.

 

Cotto-Mosley 2 is just as bad as PBF-Oscar 2.:deal
