    No of course not man!!!
Have you not learned yet: Mayweather just want MONEY. $, $ and again $.
The three things that brings him the most money: DLH II, Hatton II (especially with 100.000 fans) and WWF.

At the same time this is an answer on why Floyd hasn't (YET) fought Cotto: too early too make big big bucks like the three aforementioned

Mayweather said he doesnt care for boxing though, so he admits it, unlike hatton who will avoid anyone posing a threat to his millions yet still talk about his love for boxing and even worse he says

"My best asset is I'm fearless."
"Im the best LWW in the world"

The propaganda continues....I've heard this rumor spreading around and I don't want to believe it....two pointless rematchs in row when the fight of the decade sits under his nose. PBF is better than this Money rules his world but I'm hoping it doesn't get in the way of his mission for boxing legacy and supremacy.

I understand that a Hatton rematch will bring quite a bit of money, especially if it's at Wembley, but if Floyd were to get this fight made AFTER the somewhat unnecessary rematch with De La Hoya, I would be shocked. I'd also lose respect for him because clearly, there's just one fight that fans want to see.

Yes I agree .. but Arum also has to man up pay floyd what he Owes him and make the fight.. Floyd is not going to make a deal to fight Cotto if Arum Owes him millions.

Well if Arum owes him Millions as you say:

    1. Is this just a Floyd got underpayed thing? or Something else?

    2. Do you think he is more likley to get money from Arum if he doesnt fight Cotto?

The pain resignates deeper Brooklyn.....a good number of fans will continue to support such nonsense but placing the ulmighty dollar as a means of justification. I must admit I can never cast the first stone because what would I do if placed in such a position. I will say this, PBF is an intellegent man and I think he understands the value of the casual fan and hopefully he respects the hardcore fan enough to push for a bout with Cotto in the near future.

Floyd beating 2 guys and then fighting the exact same 2 guys he just beat immediately after that would disgust me, regardless of the reasons, regardless of his other options and regardless of Bob Arum.
And i consider myself a Mayweather fan (for now).

100,000 people!! Wow the atmosphere would be absolutely unbelievable!!

If it happens I'm there with my 'I love fatman' shirt on.

It will be PBF's fight again, but I'd go to Hell to watch Ricky fight Satan himself!!

    Come on son!!!!

Point taken Pit, and this is the main reason why I choose not chastise PBF on his financial choices. But something that cements in mind is the irony of a recent situation involving a well known delinquent that's inconsistances have cost him dearly "Zab Judah". I find it odd that a man that's held at such lower standards was willing to major pay cut just to prove to the world what he beleives to be a fact when he fought Spinks in a rematch for 800k.....now I'm not saying Zab can be compared to PBF but in some ways legacy seems to mean more to those who take a smaller paycheck.
