Canelo may have lost some steam after the Gomez performance?

That's about the only thing I can think of. He's huge in Mexico, I thought.

Just cause it's in print doesn't make it so.

After the fight a reporter on Fox sports mentioned the crowd at around 22k.

Don't know which numbers are correct but I'm guessing it's way more than 7k from what I saw.

But surely after you knew it wasnt selling you'd move to a smaller venue?

    Wtf! This is actually absurd!

Don't know what's Canelo's live attendance record in Mexico. Maybe Canelo Express is really slowing down.

Why shoot me when I'm only the messenger? It's reported in the scene of boxing, only 7,000 live attendance.

    What's your point?

So he had small attendance... The kid is barely 21... The kids has enough time to become a mega star. You think all of DLH's fights were 20k+ when he was 21???
What's your agenda here bro? Are you a Bobtard or something?

I was in Mexico last night and didn't pay a dime to watch it. I don't know if 7k is an accurate figure or not, but being in Mexico for the last week I learned something that shocked me... Saul Alvarez is more popular than Marquez, which disgusted me, everything is about Saul, and I did not see a single commercial with Marquez endorsing anything.

One thing is for sure, boxing is alive and well in Mexico. It's still a mainstream sport.

im not sure if anyone really thinks your point is a big deal, Vengeex - just yourself. Reminds me of alot of threads you start w/ much to do about nothing... and more than half the time the factual information is skewed, or the opinion of the OP is EXTREMELY skewed...

The fight was an ok fight - this fight proved that Cintron is a diminished fighter. It would be nice to see Alvarez now step it up and get a real fight that will test him. Im up for a Rubio fight....
