His stock did go up after that fight, even though he lost. It's his only one in 8 years as well. I think 25% would be about right.

Jacobs was a mando as he held a mickey mouse trinket. Mandos get 25% if it goes to purse bids which k2 would have likely won. DJ got more by threatening to ***** out of his title shot entirely which was why he got so much heat at the time.

Anyway - DJ has Canelo in a position where he desperately needs a good opponent. No way he takes less than a mando split when Canelo needs him to rebuild his credibility which as much as you Canelovers claim isn't a problem really is after the controversial scoring of his last fight, catchweights and most recently a failed drugs test.

No way Jacobs deserves a percentage out of this deal. When Canelo faught Floyd he got something like 15%. You telling me Jacobs is a bigger star now than Canelo was then?!?! I think not. No way that's a true offer. That'd probably be a bigger spilt than Cotto got against Floyd too.

Jacobs is a no name nobody. He brings in no PPV buys. Charlo is a bigger name FFS. You'd be better off giving spike 2mil flat or paying a bribe to the IBF to fight for the vacant.
