Yes, that is true. But you seem to forget the PPV cut the cable companies take. No one knows the exact % but it is believed to be 50%. So, to get a 50 mil pot you would have to make 100 mil in PPV sales. (This is completely ignoring foreign rights and other revenue streams. That said, PPV is the majority of the pot)
Man, tell me about it. He's been a Big slab of tainted meat and we've been beating on him with loaded wraps, margacheato style!
You two clowns couldn't beat an egg You DKSAB you STILL think Ginger Nutts is for real You must be part of Oscars party crowd to be this dumb
From what I've heard in the past the PPV company gets about 40 percent. So if the PPV sold 1 million at 60 dollars a buy, that would generate 60 million dollars. That would leave 36 million for the promoters to disburse among themselves and the fighters. Of course there's also the live gate and the site fee paid by who's hosting the fight. But lets just say 30 of the 36 million goes to Canelo and Jacobs, that would be 24 million to Canelo and 6 million to Jacobs, which seems to me about right as that's what Bob Arum guaranteed Juan Manuel Marquez against Pacquiao when they fought the 3rd fight and from what I read he was taking about a 20% cut in order to land the fight. Against who else would Jacobs bank anywhere close to 6 million dollars???????
