    Round 2

Soto Karass is backed across the ring as Macias windmills shot after shot, bouncing off Soto Karass' skull, with some body whacks sneaked in when Soto Karass brings his arms up to cover or lob counter double-uppercuts. Macias is touching all over the cranium, neck, shoulders, and upper torso with both hands. Light peppering blows from Macias, nothing with much starch on it, but just zillions of them. Soto Karass is actually getting some more purchase on some of his counter uppercuts, but can't leverage them quite well enough with his back on the ropes to pry his way free and shake Macias loose.

    10-9 Macias

    20-18 Macias

At the pace, Soto Karass will pass out from exhaustion in about 2 rounds.

Macias' work rate dipped to a paltry 153 in the second.

(Soto Karass actually matched him, also 153 exactly, down from one hundred and seventy-something in the first...which against anyone else would almost guarantee him being the pace-setter in terms of volume...)

    Round 3

Soto Karass is again bum-rushed into the ropes and forced to ineffectively shovel in counters at the body as Macias crowds & cramps him, raining leather down on him. Macias never leaves a gap for Soto Karass to get more than a punch in edgewise. Macias is just poking rapidly into the jaw, pecs, and sides of Soto Karass - no snap on his punches whatsoever, just leng t'che, death by a thousand little cuts style brawling warfare. Soto Karass is flurrying back as best he can but looks totally overwhelmed, clearly desiring to get out to center ring but simply unable.

    10-9 Macias

    30-27 Macias

    Round 4

Soto Karass is backed into a corner once more, predictably, but is starting to find the side of Macias' jaw with a looping right, flurrying first to give himself just barely enough room to extend. Soto Karass also peppering the stomach of Macias with uppercuts as Macias taps him repeatedly on the face with hummingbird wing-flaps. Soto Karass is fighting his way free of the corner, never quite making it out to center, but always with a cushion of air between his back and the turnbuckle, allowing him to draw his right hand back and crank it into Macias' sides and neck. Volume still in favor of Macias, but not by a lot, and Soto Karass landing the best stuff.

    10-9 Soto Karass

    39-37 Macias
