You an tell he is hoping for Kerobyan to do well so it will reflect well transitively on him.

 

Evangelista began his career going 11-0 (8) feasting on cabbies in his first year on the job, and in eight years since is 10-10-2.

I'm going to give this another four minutes or so and then I'm just going to assume that Kerobyan has already won via KO1 and give up.

I'm slightly annoyed by somebody else using "Lucky Boy" as their ring name...like, guys, Omotoso is still active. He just scored a big win over Curtis Stevens this summer.

I'd love to see Omotoso and Kerobyan fight for it, actually.

 

Cobbs undermining his own victory by saying that Kerobyan's speed was only meh. He catches himself and then says "but his power is really incredible, tho.."

 

Kerobyan a little predictable hunting with the 1-2. Evangelista not very willing to engage so far, but still landing some desperation lashing right hands across the brow to get off the ropes. Evangelista clipped with a hook in the final half minute, delayed reaction, down. He's shaky and unready to be thrown in with the wolves again, second knockdown immediately. Saved by the bell.

10-7 Kerobyan

 

Vicious body shots from Kerobyan. Evangelista looks ready to go...and there is another knockdown about eighty seconds into round 2. Jack Reiss seems unconvinced that Danny really wants to continue but gives him one more chance. Kerobyan thumps him over and over with teardrop rights. Another body shot, Evangelista down again, Reiss waves if off.

...eh, idk, GBP really wants to hype up Kerobyan but I'm not sure I see it. This is arguably his best win and Evangelista is trash. He lost his one step up against Cobbs, and yes the cut was a factor, but... I also think stylistically he might have been doomed anyway, someone clever like Cobbs is probably always going to frustrate him.
