GBP plans JMM-Canelo to match TopRank's PAC-JMM 3 offer

This is a circus freak show. Ppl complaining about JMM fighting a guy his own size, but instead he's optioned to fight a 154er that can't make 147? What the hell? Nice one GBP, smooth.

 

The fight that should be made, in fact...needs to be made is JMM vs Maidana.

 

Alvarez would fukin murder jmm. Props to jmm if he takes the fight for the lightmiddle belt but I see no way he wins this... He'd enter the ring at about 144 and he doesn't have the athletic ability to run from saul, nor does he have the power to keep him away. He'd get walked down and stopped imo. Still, balls on the guy if he accepts this fight!

This stinks. Why don't they offer him 5 million for a Morales fight? Because they won't get much in return. They don't care about JMM, only how much money they can make off him in the rest of his career. They want him to fight Canelo as JMM is the only legend they have left they can use as a stepping stone to further hype Canelo into a PPV attraction. That's what they wanted to use Mosley for, but he screwed them over by getting the Pac fight. JMM would be wise to do likewise

Mosley had a stake in GBP and his terms in fighting for GBP were on a fight by fight basis.

Marquez does'nt have a stake in GBP, and he fought for GBP contractually.
His contract stated that at the end of the terms of agreement, GBP has the right to match any offer that any other promoter would throw JMM's way.

Marquez cant do what Mosley did, because Mosley did'nt have a multifight contract signed with GBP that stipulated the terms to end the agreement like JMM's does.:deal

oscar and GBP already prostituted jmm before when they let floyd fight jmm even he was over by 2 pounds with the agreed catchweight. you can see jmm complaining but oscar convince jmm to fight on. to make things worst, oscar might have paid for floyd's over the weight fee.

if i'm jmm and pac is really my goal, why would i take on a circus of an opponent when i had a chance to redeem myself against pacquiao? i could be the first mexican to win 4 titles in 4 different divison (if arce failed) and i could be the next mexican p4p king and my legacy and ATG rankings would shoot through the roof.

In all seriousnes jmm should fight either morales, khan, maidana, judah, bradley, guerrero or soto.

 

I hope you all keep this in mind next time you criticize Bob Arum as if he is somehow worse than any other promoter.

GBP is trying to feed Marquez to Canelo. The Pacquiao fight is much more legit. :deal
