GBP President Gomez: GGG must not fight BJS in June or it will jeopardize the Canelo fight!

Not trying to start **** here I side with GGG in this mess, but he didn't become full WBA champion until the Geale fight. So he only has 6 title defenses as a main governing body org. champion, Hopkins record is 20. You can't count Interm or in the WBA's case #1 contender championship as their ridiculously named WBA Super World Middleweight Championship. That would be like someone defending the WBC Silver or interm title 21 times and say they broke the record.

At least that's how it's suppose to be.

 

These ****ers wants to keep GGG away from Saunders since they probably want to gain some time and land the Saunders fight for themselves. They don't GGG to have all the belts and they wouldn't even use it as a leverage but only to continue to play their stupid game.

 

GGG needs to go ahead & fight Saunders screw Fishnets & his little red headed cherub Gennady will then have all the belts & Pollo will have SFA

 

So you think only if they really wanted BJS, then they would make that public? Wouldn't that make K2 push harder and faster to get it signed after Jacobs and before Canelo fights in May. They are amongst the grimiest promoters, but they aren't dumb.

Just like when they said Canelo needed time to build his body up to 160. I mean he's fighting at 164 before ever fighting at 160, but yeah, he wasn't ready for the full MW limit.

If you think it's "quite clear" they want GGG in September, you're way too gullible. If BJS isn't signed by K2 before Canelo/Chavez, GBP will make that fight. And why wouldn't they? Easy fight and a legit belt that you know GGG wants.

The only question is will he bow down and hand that one to him as well, or actually fight him?

 

Bj is the only other champ and the only way canelo has a chance to get a title at 160 if g has all the belts they have less leverage

 

If GGG wants to fight three or four times a year then he should do,Canelo and Golden Boys Diva antics go way past anything Floyd Mayweather ever did,at least Floyd was his own man and actually gave rematches to those he struggled against,GGG been burned before from these clowns by letting him fight Cotto and then Khan on the promise of a fight only to start sulking and vacate which did so much harm to Canelos image.
If Golden Boy sign a contract publically then fair enough otherwise he should carry on
