GBP sack ring magazine editor/staff and closes office

    Nigel Collins has been sacked as the editor of the Ring along with other staff. Office being moved to California.

    Certainly will taint the legitimacy of its rankings and championship policy now.

    ring already has less and less credibility. I think fightnews should take over. Start hiring more credible guys and printing a magazine

    Still pretty sad, though. Even though it isn't what it used to be, RING has been a staple of the sport for years.

    Oscar probably wants to mix up the content a little bit and target more of a cross-dresser audience.

    Golden Boy is pretty boss. Not only will they be a big time promoter they'll also be controlling the organization with what is seen as the most legit belt and rankings.

    GBP trying to become a sanctioning body now too?

    Good. Ill never forgive the ring for not ranking Manny #1 p4p when won his first of his legendary championships. If they couldnt tell Manny would be the GOAT then they dont deserve to write about boxing.
