Seems to be easily handling him atm. But I'm likely going to have to miss the last few rounds .

El Secko Valenzuela was down early in this eighth & final round, but it was correctly a no-call by the ref, as Chimpa had more pushed him down than landed his sloppy flurries on the nape of his neck. CAV then rebounded and dominated the final minute with straight 1-2s, pinning González helplessly on the ropes.

Nothing changed, if they snatch this one away from Valenzuela here it'll be a travesty.

Stick a fork in Chimpa. He should honestly not pursue this career path any further. He focused almost exclusively on the offensive part of the game as they hoped to build him into a KO artist; his deficiencies on defense are too glaring for it to be worth continuing on as just a gatekeeper. Most "professional losers" by this stage of the game have learned how to adequately protect themselves even while copping a one-sided beating... where he's just going to have brain damage by 30.

He had no offense tonight. Seems afraid to pull the trigger and when he did, he did not seem like a guy who has 15 stoppages in 19 wins.

I was probably a child earlier than many people on the forum and it was always a significant majority of the year. President George W. Bush did add approximately three weeks to Daylight Savings Time in 2007 however. Best thing he did as President in my opinion!

Yeah through his first dozen or so pro fights I don't think a single coach had ever prepped him for the fact (or even suggested it might be a possibility) that he might get backed up in the ring.. he's clueless when anyone brings it to him. Duno set the blue print and Rey P. followed it (each time more successfully, knocking him out in the rematch) and now Valenzuela...who, respectfully, is a step down from the Sindangan Technician (as pretty much any US journeyman is going to be from the average Filipino journeyman, let alone the better ones)

It annoys me to hear Coachman on even small-fry boxing events like this, as it de-legitimizes them and gives them a circus air due to his past in WWE. Same reason the presence of Mauro Ronallo bugs me, although less intensely (coming as he did from a background in MMA, which is somewhere approximately halfway between WWE and pro boxing in respectability and dignity IMO)

    That and he's just a boob. :sisi1

"Purin" Rodríguez is a perfect 11-0, all 11 by kayos and four of those in the opening round. The southpaw, 24, is hoping to become the "next big thing" from Puerto Rico..

"Ecchevaria" Aquino was clearly brought in to extend that streak; all six of his losses have come by stoppage, including his last four matches in a row.

Aquino down off a hard left cross midway into the second... Doesn't seem keen to get up. Nope.

    KO2!
