    Round 5

Rodríguez is grinding his way in, as Duno scampers outward, looking to set up a nuclear right hand to halt Rodríguez's advance, to no avail. Rodríguez is ripping the body with two-fisted uppercutting combos, then jacks Duno's head sharply back with a right upper-hook on the flat underside of the jaw. Duno keeps flipping out a backhanded 1-2, fists starting bunched up in front of his sternum before getting flung out at Rodríguez's head, but Rodríguez is disrupting his timing, punching with him, scattering his arms in either direction, and pounding on the body.

    10-9 Rodríguez

    48-47 Rodríguez

Not sure Romero standing in the corner is a great idea, with the number of heavy body punches Rodríguez has been investing. This seems a pointless and potentially costly display of machismo..

48-47 Mozo at the halfway point. He's just been landing the eye-catching stuff at this point.

    Round 6

Rodríguez is paddle-balling the right jab into Duno's grill and working the left ham-hock like a Newton's cradle into the liver & ribs area. Duno looking haggard, getting backed up consistently, worked over against the ropes. Very little on Duno's handful of desperation counters. Duno can't get any leverage. Rodríguez landing lead lefts on the chin, forcing Duno to back up in straight lines, directly in his line of fire. Rodríguez throws a jab, feints a body shot, and just catches Duno with the first half a grazing 1-2 before Duno ducks to avoid decapitation.

    10-9 Rodríguez, dominant

    58-56 Rodríguez

The next highest-ranked Filipino lightweight after Duno?

Jessie Cris Rosales. (whom you may remember getting stopped by Shakur Stevenson or Jhonny González)

Now, as much as I do like Jimdomar, his chinny ass would be tailor-made for the heavy-handed Zurdo. :shakehead:

...and their 140lb lineup is garbage.

If he wants, Rodríguez could have a late career renaissance as the Scourge of the Philippines and completely clean them out in a division or two..

Duno has landed a couple good shots so far...he got in a nice headbutt earlier and a nice nutshot this round...strange deduction at this point though
