The two biggest promoters bickering like children on a play ground and denying the fans some of the biggest fights that can be made for us and the sport. But i have a question: Do you think that this is all put on? GBP benefits from in house fights just as much as Top Rank. Maybe they are both happy with this arrangement. More money in their pockets and **** the fans that are so essential to the continuation of the sport.
Business is business which is the #1 rule.....HOWEVER, there's times when businesses can co-exist, but that takes all companies to be on the same page. Oscar and Schaefer are not as old school as Arum, so they're probably more open to the idea of co-broking fights. Dibella seems to be a pretty caring promoter and people don't seem to like Shaw, but he's co-promoted many fights. Their stables are not as big as the top 2, so they technically probably have to co-broke fights. I don't really know how much of the business side that Oscar is really on, but I'm sure he's got issues with Arum just like Mayweather does. At the same time, they all like having more money. Arum has been accused, especially recently, at only wanting to do in house fights, so now is a good time for Oscar to show that he's willing to co-broke fights, thus making him look like the bigger "man".
