Bute has only been world champion for 4 hours but certain promoters are already getting in touch with Interbox, trying to set up a fight for Bute's title.

The first call came from Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar de la Hoya's company.

De la Hoya is Librado Andrade's promoter, ranked 11th by the IBF. Andrade has suffered only 1 defeat at the hands of Mikkel Kessler. He also fought in Montreal in 2006, beating Otis Grant by KO in the 6th.

GBP and Interbox have agreed to enter discussions in November, during the WBC convention.

Bute should proceed to his first title defence in February.

Other than Andrade, other names that have been mentioned include Christian Sanavia and Robert Stieglitz.

The article dates back to october 21st

imo both Adrade and Stieglitz are good scalps for Bute considering that even though he has the title he is not yet champion material. Also dealing with Sauerland or GBP can only be good for his marketability.
