Falcão lobbing southpaw 1-2s up top repeatedly, with no hesitation between them, showing admirable hustle despite breathing openly through his mouth, but very little zip on them, and easily batted aside.

 

Ballard has taken 7-8-9 on my card, but only the 7th was a really "good" round for him; the last two have been strictly by the skin of his teeth and only because Falcão is doing worse, looking gassed and sloppy.

 

Falcão putting more snap on that southpaw 1-2 in round ten, really trying for some late dramatics to put a flourish on this one (I think he's angling for an insurance knockdown; his volume suggests to me that he doesn't have the hunger or self-belief to go for an outright KO)

 

Very quiet last minute. Nobody behaving as if he deserves a win; if such things were measured on desire I would say just hand 'em a draw.

 

Fischer's scorecard is level, 95-95, giving Ballard rounds 5 and 7-10 and Falcão sweeping four off the jump and shading the sixth.
