Round 4

Ulysse is starting to wade confidently into the deep trenches with Barroso, taking loads of leather below his elbows, but walking through it so that it mitigates the damage, and sniping Barroso in the face with the jab and laser-guided right cross so that Barroso's shots are sapped of some of their might. Barroso is willingly lathering up power combos, but the hand speed edge is becoming very evident as Ulysse is able to pivot & lean away from the lumbering punches of the Venezuelan while simultaneously whacking him across the jaw with a check hook.

Round 5

Ulysse is tiptoeing around, shelling up as Barroso starts to hammer up top with a slow but hard ramrod double and triple right jab. Ulysse circling wide and firing lead rights at the head or slapping with a hook as he orbits in close, but the arms of Barroso are whipping furiously out in underhanded strops across the midsection.

Round 6

Ulysse is trying like hell to get Barroso's respect with the 1-2, but not able to bite down with it with ample force to dissuade the juggernaut. Ulysse finds himself unable to get full extension on any straight punches as Barroso is constantly shuffling in with his crooked hunchback poise and crash both fists into Ulysse's body. NICE spearing counter right hand by Ulysse, hurting Barroso, except he immediately responds with a hard unanswered 4-5 punch body combo.

Yeah, the smirking facial expressions and body language are weird - Yves clearly thinks he's putting on some kind of clinic and yet every round has been razor thin.

 

Round 7

Ulysse is stepping in and shaving past Barroso's right jab with his left, and planting the knuckle pads of his own right glove squarely against the upper bridge of Barroso's nose. Barroso not getting close in this one, and therefore not unloading as many body shots. Ulysse keeping him out at extended arm's length for the most part, and only allowing Barroso entry when there is a jab and cross lying in wait, trap sprung the moment Barroso closes range.
