I'm thrilled to be wrong for a change. :clapclap: I really wish I'd have had more faith in Barroso.

Ooh, look at that stung pride. Based on his demeanor in the fight, Ulysse probably thinks he pitched a shutout.

I’m very confused as to how Ulysse can be so surprised. It’s not quite Broner level delusion but it’s close

Barroso looks like the old farmer that gets killed by bandits protecting his horses from gettin' rustled in the first act of a Western.

He's used to stylin' and profilin' when he's the "boxer" in a match-up. He can't get it through his skull that Barroso =/= Seldin & Claggett.

I kind of feel bad for Ismael. He's good enough to have probably worn a title belt at some point, had circumstances panned out a little differently (at the very least he's better than many guys with short paper title reigns on their ledgers) but he will likely retire having never officially reached that heights, with aught to show for his efforts an interim title win (upsetting Kevin Mitchell via KO as the B-side visitor) and now the "Gold" title win (upsetting Yves Ulysse Jr. as the B-side visitor once again).

He is listed third at 140lbs all time among Venezuelans on Boxrec, with only Carlos "Morocho" Hernández (lineal champion in the 1960's) and the also still active Jorge Linares ahead of him.

54th all time pound for pound.

Hell he's at least known to have been a great puncher and has banged out Britain's best ever non champion.
