    Not surprising.
Gary "Site Fees" Shaw at his B side best.

Conflicting reports on this. Steve Lillis on his weekly round up every friday on boxnation says Geale-Barker is close to been done for August 10th in the US, and that HBO will rubber stamp it this weekend. I wouldn't be surpriesd if this is a card with a lot of promoters involved, similar to Golovkin-Proksa. Geale-Barker is just not a strong enough fight to headline a HBO card, don't get me wrong though, cracking fight. Isnt Chavez jr fighting Vera/Murray in August ? Don't be surprised if Geale-Barker ends up on the same card.

I'll be surprised because Chavez's next fight is in Mexico City.

I doubt Real Deal Geale will be fighting there.

Maybe HBO will broadcast from two sites. Done it plenty of times before.

Gary Shaw is owed a HBO date in August due to a previous deal with HBO when it was under Ross Greenburg...he may need to use Geale for it because Shaw's stable is awfully thin.

He is not the best middleweight fron UK true but I would not call him a bum.
Strange that geale has to go to UK to fight him there...

BTW I would be very suprised if Geale-Barker is on HBO. Nobody will have a big interest in that fight in the USA.

HBO is all over the middleweight division at the minute, they have huge interest in it.
