He should just fight Soliman so he doesn't get stripped of the IBF, It would be a big fight in Melbourne.

**** Golovkin let him keep fighting blown up welterweights
Martinez is fighting Murray, Chavez will be looking for a tune up, Quillin has a fight lined up.
May as well just fight Soliman.

This is a pointless fight for Geale.

He should fight in the US instead of following in the footsteps of Mundine.

"We've signed nothing," said Geale's manager Bill Treacy.
"There's a three-way hook-up on Thursday with me, (promoter) Gary Shaw and Daniel to decide what to do," Treacy said.

In your decision, focus on credibility.

The credibility thing goes both ways.

If he fights Soliman, many will say it's a waste of time, and he's ducking the big names, Martinez, GGG, etc.

If he doesn't fight Soliman, many will say he's ducking his mandatory, twice now.

He's damned if does and damned if he doesn't...

Personally, as much as I hate it, I think he should fight Soliman. Get it over and done with, then fight the big names.
Pleases everyone really, it just takes a little longer.

 , He's better off fighting GGG now rather than fighting Matty Mac , fighting his mandatory is the soft option , Geale couldn't wait to shout out how much he wants to fight the best after giving Mundine a tin hat but now it's being suggested he defends his title v a guy who Mundines beaten 4 times . It's a **** fight mate and the soft option however it's presented .

I couldn't agree more with you about it being a soft option. But I can also see the other side of the argument.
You know as well as I do, plenty of people will be jumping up and down about him not fighting his mandatory.
I think he has time to do it all.

As for GGG, seriously now :yep, I don't think it will make much difference whether Geale fights him today, or in 3 years. I think Geale will always have GGG's number - my opinion, and I stand by it.

However, I reckon it's more important to chase Martinez, as he's the man to beat at MW, and if he waits too long and beats him, everyone will say Martinez was past it.
This is already happening with Geale now, he's still not getting the credit he deserves from many because they say all of his fights have been with opponents that are past it. Which to some degree, is true.

**** his mandatory Geale is above fighting these manufactured mandatorys , no diss to Sam but come the **** is he deserving of another title shot after scraping past Sturm ? Great win for him away from home be worthy of a title shot ? Get da dug otta ear m8 . And if Geale does fight him then he should really STFU with all that I want to fight the best talk and admit he is going to keep his IBF trinket down under . Nothing wrong with that senecio either he should just be honest about it if that's his intent .
