I don't blame him that much. He may full of ****, but I could see why he'd want to only fight if Australia (his home country).
What GGG should have done is call his bluff and make the fight a week earlier

Should've been more flexible on the date.

Nothing new here, Geale has been terrified of Golovkin for a long time he even dropped his WBA belt to avoid him once... Pathetic.

    Disappointing.

Also, I dont think GGG camp could have changed date... usually dates are set by the network. HBO wants Kirkland anyhow, so I doubt they would be very accommodating.

Unless Murray crawls out from under a rock to challenge for a title on HBO on the anniversary of his Martinez loss, looks like we are set to see another mismatch.

I have to agree. GGG just plays games to avoid risky fights. It is time for GGG to step up or start fighting bums on Epix like the egg Clinchko

I think if Geale was being completely honest, he doesn't want anyone from Australia to see him fight GGG. Dana White should be receiving his gift basket any day now.

Takes two to make a deal, shame Geale doesn't want it.

If Kirkland takes the fight, so be it. At least James will come to fight and won't ***** out at the negotiating table.

You're a stupid inbred ****** or you just use dislogic to beat down
your nemesis GGG, or both. Probably both. HBO has had MSG booked
since before this article broke, and they can't just change it at the
drop of a hat because Geale needs this fight to be shown in a country
of 20 million. Geale holds no belts and is coming off a loss, so he should
challenge GGG under the champs circumstances. You really should show
the sport of boxing some respect by leaving this site and never returning.
