I don't know when Geale's mandatory is up, if he doesn't have to fight the Sturm-Soliman winner next them im convinced he will fight Macklin next in the states. Shaw and DiBella have co-promoted many fights together, and co-promote some of the same fighters actually. This fight could be made in 15 minutes. HBO want Geale over, Macklin's last 2 fights on HBO. The other angle here is that its well known HBO have a reserved date for Golovkin to fight in the states in late June. He takes a stay busy fight against Ishida on March 30th. Could Geale be in play for the June date perhaps ? Personally, i think its a long wait and i think its Golovkin-Pirog in June anyway.

Sam gthretens to retire if geale ducks him ..... what does sam achieve from that?

and why is geale hell bent on avoiding him?? apart from wanting massive fights.... would be good for aussie boxing though, and sam deserves it

I think Sam is getting ahead of himself saying he'l retire if GEale ducks him..........small problem is that he has to beat Sturm first.........which he won't do.

Sturm should have to fight Geale in Australia. And Soliman's style reminds me of those crazy kids you knew at school who just one day went nuts, throwing big cyclone punches at the class bully with tears in his eyes. It doesn't end up working, so he sets up an intricate plan to tranq the bully, drag him to his shed, put him in a dress and cable tie him to a steel chair that's dynabolted to the ground. Starves him for 3 to 4 days, then cuts the blood circulation off to his legs and begins to carve fillets out of his thigh...

That's who Sam reminds me of.

Does Geale & his team have the $$$ to win a purse bid vs Sturm???
I would expect the rematch vs Sturm to be back in Germany again.

Definatley not. I dunno how much Geale won, but it's no where near what Sturm has just sitting in his pockets like dirty bar change.

All I can tell you guys is that prior to Sammy leaving...he was training pretty damn good...his pad work was exceptional.

His in great shape and I wouldnt count him out so easily.

See what happens tomorrow morning I guess.
