Well it certainly trumps him fighting Shane Cameron for the IBO CW title so I would say so.:good Buster will still think that's better though.
pmsl.. ill pay that Duke. rumor has it when news broke of this fight Danny Green was seen curled up in a corner sulking his ass off.
I'm not a fan of either guy but in 2012/2013 I'd be very confident that Geale would beat Mundine at 160.
I agree, neither guy is impressive but Geale appears to be only marginally better than Mundine at this stage. If Geale struggles against someone like Mundine his future does not bode well. This appears to be nothing more than a money grab and a great coup for Mundine. He suckered Shaw and Geale accepted this nonsense.
It will be a close-ish fight for a while, that is until a thunderbolt from Mundines right fist stops Geales Brain cold.
I expect them to trade rounds over the first 6 or so. After that I fancy geales work rate will become to much for Anthony. Anthony still has hand speed, so he'll land a bit at first, but his legs are gone. After a while he will become a sitting duck
Thunderbolt from Mundine's right? Not sure I have ever seen this elusive thunderbolt from The Man before unless you are referring to his KO of the great TImo Masua back in 2001. In all seriousness, Mundine is the more talented guy with the greater speed and accuracy but I suspect he will struggle with Geale's workrate and pressure, It is a really good fight and I am pumped it got made. I hope to see Mundine get brutally KO'ed but I doubt Geale is the man to do this. Does anyone have any idea where and when it goes down?
